Cookie Policy
Effective from: 01.03.2026. Last updated: 01.03.2026.
1. Controller
The controller of the website and data related to the use of cookies is Decent Code Sp. z o.o., ul. Młynarska 29, 58-300 Wałbrzych, Poland (registered office address only, no on-site client service), NIP 886 301 65 19, REGON 388 952 820, KRS 0000904994, share capital PLN 10,000, e-mail: firma@decentcode.pl.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on the user's device. The website may also use similar technologies, in particular localStorage, which are used to remember user settings, consents and preferences.
Storing information on the user's device or accessing it takes place in accordance with the Polish Electronic Communications Law. Cookies and similar technologies that are not necessary to provide a service requested by the user are used after consent is obtained.
3. Types of cookies
Necessary cookies and localStorage enable website operation, remember the cookie consent decision, maintain theme preferences and ensure security. These technologies are used without separate consent because they are necessary to provide the service or function requested by the user.
Functional technologies may remember user preferences, such as light or dark mode. Analytics cookies are used only after analytics cookies are accepted in the banner.
4. Purposes of use
Cookies and similar technologies help ensure website security, remember user settings, handle the consent banner, measure website traffic, detect errors and improve Legal Kanban content and functions.
The website uses localStorage, among other things, to remember the lk_cookie_consent value (cookie decision) and lk_theme value (selected website theme).
5. Managing consents
The user may accept or reject analytics cookies in the cookie banner. The decision can be changed through the "Cookie settings" link available in the website footer.
The user may also manage cookies in browser settings. Restricting necessary cookies or localStorage may cause some website functions to work incorrectly.
6. External tools
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Provider: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Purpose: analytics of website traffic and user behaviour.
Data scope: online identifiers (e.g. cookie/device ID), IP address (shortened), device and browser data, information about visited pages, traffic source, visit time, clicks and interactions, approximate location based on IP.
Legal basis: user consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) expressed through the cookie banner.
Retention period: user-level data is retained for 2 months and event data for 14 months according to GA4 configuration, and until consent is withdrawn by the user.
Transfer outside the EEA: possible. Standard contractual clauses (SCCs) or other GDPR-compliant mechanisms are applied.
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after "accepted" consent is saved in cookie settings. Rejecting analytics cookies does not limit access to website content.
7. Changes to the Cookie Policy
The Controller may update the Cookie Policy if law, analytics tools, website configuration or consent management methods change. The current version is published on the website.
